American Express’ new Premier Rewards Gold Card is one of my favorite credit cards. It gives you 3x Membership rewards points when you purchase airfare on the card, 2x points on gas and groceries that are charged to your card, and 1 point on everything else. The best part is American Express is now giving away 15,000 bonus membership rewards points just for getting the card! Membership rewards is arguably one of the best programs out there and there is no annual fee for the first year which makes this offer a win win. For those who use credit cards frequently if you charge at least $30,000 within your first year of card membership American Express will give you an ADDITIONAL 15,000 bonus points making the total offer 30,000 bonus points!
How to get the bonus points:
- To earn the bonus you must charge $1,000 of eligible purchases during your first three months of Card membership on your American Express® Premier Rewards Gold Card.
- 15,000 bonus points will be credited to your Membership Rewards account 6-8 weeks after you spend at least $1,000.
- Offer is available to first time Premier rewards gold card holders.
