Open a Hyatt Hotels Visa credit card from Chase and earn two free award nights usable at any of Hyatt’s 483+ hotels around the World and a $75 statement credit after your first purchase. This is perfect timing for those planning summer vacations this year, you can use your free night certificates for hotels that are over $1000 per night! Hyatt has some of the best hotels and has a great loyalty program.

If you are already a member there is an even sweeter deal. Platinum members get the above two free nights plus two suite upgrades. Current Diamond members get 2 free nights in a suite. Chase does charge an annual fee of $75 which is offset by the statement credit.

Additional benefits:

Earn three Gold Passport reward points for every dollar you spend at a Hyatt hotel and one point per dollar spent anywhere else. This card also has Smart Chip technology which is used overseas, namely the UK. This chip creates an extra level of security by making the user enter a PIN number like a debit card when using the card. Especially when paying for some of Hyatt’s pricy hotels.

More benefits include free elite Passport Gold status with Hyatt as long as you have the card and a one free night certificate at any category 1-4 hotel. This essentially pays for the annual fee every year.

Do you have an American Express credit card and looking to earn some extra Membership Rewards points? A new service called “Pay Over Time” is offering a 10,000 one time enrollment bonus. Pay Over Time lets you select specific purchases and gives you the flexibility to pay them in installments like traditional credit cards. As long as the purchase is over $100 it should be eligible for this service.

Pay Over Time Benefits:

There is no fee to use Pay Over Time but they will charge interest on the purchase since it was not paid in full by the due date. This allows you to use one card for everything instead of splitting up large purchases on separate cards or using another company altogether. A big benefit of Pay Over Time is the additional features that come with using an American Express card like purchase protection, lost luggage protection, trip insurance, etc. You can still get those benefits and pay for your trip over a period of time.

Offer terms:

Only certain AMX cards are eligible, my business gold card was not. You can log in using the link below and American Express will advise you if your card is eligible. You must enroll by June 30th 2012 to get the 10k bonus points. Only one bonus is allowed per account. Sign up using bonus id 7907/7775. Membership Rewards points will be credited to your account within 6 to 8 weeks after enrollment.

New for 2012- Chase just launched their largest airline frequent flyer bonus in over a year. Open a British Airways credit card and earn 100,000 bonus Avios miles. 100k miles can be redeemed for a round trip business class ticket from the United States to Europe or four round trip domestic tickets! The usual bonus for this card is a mere 25k miles which makes this offer very attractive and lucrative depending on how you use the miles. For example, I used 100k miles last summer to book a round trip ticket from the US to Italy in business class which would have cost me around 13k if I would have paid for it. 13 cent per mile is an amazing valuation for miles.

Offer terms:

There is a somewhat hefty spending requirement for this card to get the full bonus. Chase will deposit 50,000 miles after your very first purchase however to get 25k more miles you have spend at least 10k within the first year. To earn the final 25k miles you have to spend an additional 10,000 bringing the total spend requirement to 20k in the first year. That may seem like a lot but check out a few of our other articles like how to pay taxes with your credit card or using Amazon payments. There are many ways to create extra “spend” without having to use your own money.

This is a Visa Signature card which offers tons of extra benefits. You earn 2.5 Avios for every dollar spent on British Airways purchases and 1.25 Avios per dollar on any other purchase. Balance transfers and cash advances do not earn miles. There is an annual fee of $95 that is not waived for the first year so the offer does require a small initial investment. Some other card benefits essentially pay for the annual fee. Bonus Avios miles will be deposited into your account within 6-8 weeks after you meet each requirement.

Additional benefits:

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your BA card overseas! This is a big plus for me. Typically credit card companies charge a 3% fee for every dollar you charge while out of the country. This can add up rather quickly if you travel a lot. I save almost $1000 a year in fees just for carrying this card and earn miles at the same time.

Smart chip technology, this is the only card from a United States issuer that has a smart chip embedded in it. That means this card is more secure than most and can be used more in Europe and other countries that require you to enter a PIN when using a credit card.

Travel together ticket If you spend 30k or more per year on your British Airways card Chase will send you a free companion voucher which is good for a two year period. This is an amazing feature that lets you bring someone for free on your next award trip. There are no cabin or location requirements. Lets say you book an award ticket from the US to Asia in business or first class. Your companion will fly in the exact same class as you for free! Visit ba.com/traveltogetherticket for more details on the Travel Together Ticket.

This is an amazing offer from Chase and will not last long. Visit this link for full details and to apply.

As the peak travel season quickly approaches Chase just released an upgraded bonus for their United Airlines MileagePlus Explorer credit card. Earn 50,000 bonus miles after your first purchase and another 10,000 once you spend $25,000 on your card. That’s enough miles for two free domestic tickets anywhere in the United States! Since United merged with Continental last year many new flights have been added, and award availability is now greater than ever.

Explorer card benefits:

I have this card and it is my preferred airline card because it gives me two United Club passes every year (worth $100). Lounge access is important for those who fly a lot and have long layovers, or if you just want to grab a quick beer before your next flight. There is a $95 annual fee for this card but the club passes essentially cancel that out (especially for those who drink a lot). The annual fee is waived for the first year.

Checked bag fee waiver on any United operate flight for you and your companion. Each checked bag is about $25 each way which is a huge savings even for one flight.

Priority boarding- board before the general population and secure overhead bin space! Due to the above mentioned baggage fees people are now carrying on more baggage than ever so it can be quite difficult to find overhead bin space if you are at the end of the boarding line.

Earn 2 miles for every $1 spent on United purchases and 1 mile per dollar on any other purchase.

Use miles for any seat on any United flight which is only a benefit for card members and Elite status members.

Additional information and offer terms:

Chase will deposit 50,000 miles into your United MileagePlus within 6-8 weeks after making your first purchase. (The miles usually post on your next statement). Earn an additional 10,000 miles after you spend at least $25,000 on the card every year.

Club pass terms: Allow 8-10 weeks after sign-up to receive your first set of passes and 2-4 weeks after each anniversary date.

This offer is valid for new MileagePlus Explorer card members. You must keep your account open at least 6 months or Chase reserves the right to retract the bonus miles.

Ready to apply:

Visit United at http://www.TheExplorerCard.com/60Bonus and it will ask you to log into your mileage plus account. Once you log in it will display the 60,000 offer. If you do not currently have an account create one, they are free. If you do not log in you will only see the regular 40k offer.

Great balance transfer offers are finally returning in 2012 after a long hiatus. The “Slate” credit card issued by Chase Bank is offering a 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. What makes this deal so great is that there are NO TRANSFER FEES. That is right, no fee for no matter how much you transfer. This is the best transfer offer we have seen in the last few years. The previous offer was only 12 months. Chase does make you complete the balance transfers within the first 30 days of opening the account or the standard fee of 3% will apply, but for those of us with Holiday bills starting to roll in this is a quick and easy way to essentially get free money for a year and a half. If you read our article on how to pay taxes with your credit card this piece of plastic would be a great option since you also get the promo rate on purchases. Take an extra 15 months interest free to pay uncle Sam back!

Slate has no annual fee so you don’t have to worry about paying your card of and closing it before the fee hits and comes with a nice feature from Chase called “Blueprint”. Blueprint is different because it helps you to get out of debt faster. You have four different ways to “categorize” each purchase based on when you want to pay it off. “Full Pay” lets you pay off the purchase in full to avoid paying any interest. “Split” allows you to pay off a large purchase and set it the pay off date by a certain month or amount. “Finish it” helps you pay off your balance faster. Chase does the math and presents you with an option that works based on your individual needs. “Track It” helps you analyze your purchases and see how well your budgeting. Visit Blueprint for more details.

All in all this is a great little card to help you budget and offers you unique solutions to help get out of debt all with a great APR for 15 months. Visit Chase Slate to apply or to learn more.

With the big game over the 2011 football season is winding down but there is a new credit card offer out for all the big fans. Open a new NFL Extra Points Visa credit card and earn 20,000 bonus points …

With the big game over the 2011 football season is winding down but there is a new credit card offer out for all the big fans. Open a new NFL Extra Points Visa credit card and earn 20,000 bonus points after your first purchase. You can redeem your 20,000 points for NFL experiences or $200 in statement credit. This card has no annual fee and looks great in your wallet with your favorite teams logo on the front.

You normally see applications for this card at booths outside of football stadiums with cheesy sign-up offers like a free towel, mug, or shirts. They prey on the unsuspecting (usually inebriated) fan to sign up for another credit card for a small gift so this $200 bonus is a nice surprise. This incentive wont last long so apply today before it expires. The NFL Extra Points credit card is issued by Barclays and gives you 1% cash back option on all of your purchases. 20,000 bonus points will be deposited into your account within 3o days of making your first balance transfer or purchase with your new card. Cash advances and checks used to access your account do not count for this promotion.

This offer is valid for first time NFL cardholders and Barclays has a nice disclosure attached that says if you happen to open another account and get two or more incentives they may revoke the bonus points at any time or charge your account for the “fair value” of the bonus. Extra Points will expire if you have no activity in a four year period.

As stated earlier Barclays give you 1 point for every dollar you spend with your card. You can redeem those points for NFL merchandise for your favorite team, unique fan experiences, gift cards, or statement credit once you earn $25. You also get 20% off all of your NFL website purchases.

Visit the Extra Points Visa website here for full details and to apply.

That is enough for 3 round trip tickets! Granted, the three trips have to be off peak but it is still a great deal if you plan your vacation a few months out.

Spirit is definitely one of the “no frills” airlines but during this tough economic time many welcome the approach. I personally love them because they fly nonstop from DFW to Vegas and are even lower than Southwest. This card also gives you more miles than most airline cards – 2 miles per dollar spent on every purchase versus 1 mile on other cards. Get preferred boarding as well as domestic priority check in as a card member. Pay no annual fee for the first year and there is no limit to the amount of miles you can earn per year. After the first year, the annual fee for World MasterCard accounts is $59 and $19 for Platinum Plus cards.

If you are able to spend at least $10,000 in purchases every year Spirit will also give you an extra 5,000 bonus miles. That can seem like a hefty amount of spending but check out Amazon payments and some of the other payment processing sites out there to rack up those free miles.

Additional terms:

15,000 bonus miles will be deposited into your Spirit account on the close of your billing cycle that you made the first purchase on.

5,000 anniversary miles are posted within 4 to 6 weeks after the first full year of card membership.

You have to be an active member of the Free Spirit Miles program in order to use the miles. Which means, you must use your card at least once per month.

Award travel is subject to fees, taxes, etc.

It is no surprise to most that United and Continental airlines merged last year effectively creating the largest airline in the world. An amazing offer was released this week. Earn up to 60,000 United Mileage Plus miles when you apply for the Chase United Airlines credit card. We have not seen an airline bonus this lucrative in some time. 60,000 miles is enough for two domestic round trip tickets on United, Continental, US Airways, and many other airline partners. You can also use the miles to book international tickets as well.

What also makes this offer different is the fact that it is extremely easy to meet the incentive requirements. Chase will deposit 50,000 miles into your account after your very first use of the card! No outrageous spend requirements like other cards out there. Chase considers “first use” as any purchases, balance transfers, or checks written from your account. The remaining 10,000 miles can be a little tricky for most. In order to get the rest you must spend at least $25,000 on the card annually.

Additional card benefits:

The Mileage Plus Explorer card also has tons of extra perks. The first year is fee free (after the 1st year the annual fee is $95). You can check your first bag for free on any United or Continental flight. Get two free Club Passes every year. The United Club offers you amazing lounge access with drinks, snacks, and wifi during those long layovers. You also earn 1 MileagePlus mile for every dollar you spend and 2 miles for every dollar spent on United & Continental purchases. One of the important benefits for me personally is the fact that I get priority boarding. No more dreading being in the last group to board the plane and fighting for overhead bin space.

Additional terms:

Chase will deposit the bonus miles with 6-8 weeks after you meet the above spend requirements. 2 United Club passes will also be mailed within 6-8 weeks after you open the account and 2-4 weeks after each anniversary. MileagePlus miles do not expire as long as you have some type of activity on your credit card. This offer is valid only for first time Chase United credit card holders.

How to apply?

You must have a mileage plus account set up in order to see this offer. If you do not have an account visit www.united.com to create one for free. Once you are logged into your MileagePlus account visit this link to see the 60k offer.
